Description So, I got ComicWorks recently, a very simplified photoshop-esque program made by Deleter, the company that makes a lot of tone and stuff that actual manga-ka use, and I dunno...it's an extremely simplified layout, the controls are very counter-intuitive, and just...blehness, but I'm sure I felt that way about Photoshop the first time, too
Anyway, this is Retta, short for Henrietta, she's a roleplay character I made up recently (sigh, as if I don't already have enough rp characters rambling around making trouble x.x) and actually in the story she's much younger, but I felt like drawing her, so I picked out some reference pictures I liked and applied them to Retta, then I took the pose I liked the most into ComicWorks and tried to tone it up. The stock I used for this pose is from [link] who always has very lovely stock, and I used the advice in [link] to figure out how to use ComicWorks (though some of the steps don't seem to make sense o.-)
Anyway, yea, stupid confusing new program. If I can figure it out better, I'll start using it to do the tone for my webcomic, Romeo and Julius. I'm still going to do the actual sketches in Photoshop though, actually drawing in ComicWorks is way too much of a pain, heh.
Let me know what you think!
