A long time ago, I toyed with the idea of giving Kate a shoulder angel and devil to represent her struggle with moving outsider of her emotional comfort zone. I ultimately decided against it because the concept applies more to an inner conflict of conscience rather than opening up emotionally. But hey, maybe in the future I’ll reconsider the idea. For now, I just really wanted to draw the idea out.
I think Angel Kate came out really cute. I love stupid-giant sweaters that may as well just be dresses.
