I hope it's something good.
The idea I was going for was something along the lines of a medieval marriage bed when the women of the family would yank the sheets from the bed to show the blood stains proving the bride was a virgin.
Also, obviously blank pages needing to be written upon.

I like the way you have described it and how imaginative it is... or creative, rather, with the atmosphere and mood that you've set here. The way you have portrayed the main subject matter is brilliant and ... I feel as if there is a nervous excitement, or something waiting for something good to happen, perhaps?

Something like that, anyway.
