After leaving the foothills of the Rockies, Andrea’s coven headed south, coming across the Rio Grande and following it into the Grand Canyon, where she found her next group of thralls, four Camazotz, large humanoid bats that attacked from a cave they were resting by one night. A quick fight later and Andrea was turning them into thralls as well. This would be the point she actually came up with the idea of making a coven made up of different cryptids from around the new continent, her thinking by now that a large, non-vampire coven would help keep any other vampires that made it to the new world from bothering her about forming one with them and giving her companions that wouldn’t leave her and that could take care of themselves in a fight.

Tepkunset is the unofficial leader of the Camazotz, which as a species can drink blood, eat meat and fruit, and can even feed on flowers, though this last dietary inclusion is often more of a supplement than an actual meal. Each of the four Andrea turned has a preference and Tepkuset’s is fruit, especially those found in what is now Mexico and Central America. She also likes fruit that has been fermented, meaning she’s one of the few in the coven that likes liquor.

She’s also the calmest of the Camazotz, often taking her time eating while rooting or even “hanging out” with Enola as the two have formed a sort of friendship across species lines.

She picked up her style of hair after the coven later traveled near the city of San Francisco. She saw several asian immigrant women with the same style while flying over the city one night and adopted it. This, combined with her calm attitude and liking of spirits, has led the children of the coven to nickname her the “Camazotz Geisha” and they even got her into a home-made kimono once for a quick photoshoot. While confused by the new garb and attention, Tepkunset took it all in stride and even likes to pull it out (aka, get someone to bring it out for her) whenever Andrea decides to have a drink at home and wants to test out a new mixed drink for the club.
