Sen is one of seven mystical beings born from the emotions of all living beings. He is born from sorrow, despair and grief, but despite this, gives off a sense of tranquillity like the night. Sen and his other kin don't have any physical form or gender, but this transformation is a sign of things to come in the distant future. Like a vampire, Sen is able to absorb sorrow and grief from living things (mostly humans) with his fangs. He has to keep these emotions stored deep within his subconscious because if they're released, he will temporarily go mad, destroying everything in sight.

Always keeps a serious expression on his face and his emotions sealed off to prevent the stored emotions he took from others from overtaking him. This sometimes gives people a feeling that he's cold hearted. He sometimes lets his guard down, but only for a few minutes, especially in front of children and people with child-like personalities. Even though he acts like this, it's just to protect people and those he cares about. If he goes out of control, the people closest to him could likely be killed, so he pushes people away for their safety.
