Coming to us, Expo was rather uneasy with any human contact and seemed to have a hard time trusting anyone. After many stressful days of cleaning her up and getting her the health care she was in need of, she started to look a lot healthier and more lively.

Amanda always had the biggest heart and did everything she could to spoil the mare with luxuries she never had. She gave her many soft pillows and fresh jucy apples to snack on. As Expo rested and got more comfortable with her surroundings, Ava spent more time near her than anyone else. She seemed drawn to the mare.

Expo didn't seem too keen on the males at the stable, which we are guessing may be due to something from her past. She really started to enjoy seeing Ava come around to sit and talk with her and before long had become really attached to her. Ava promised her she would never let any more harm come to her. That this was her new home and would be for the rest of her long and healthy life.
