This is the masked arc, this is going to be a mini comic series before the start of the big run.

Lore: a mass figure has been terrorizing many inkling and octoling towns has been harassed multiple times by this figure but this time they took it too far by completely taking over one of the towns and splatting everyone that lived there. Sadly, there are no respawn pads for everyone to respond so they pretty much are permanently dead. This is a small group that managed to survive and form a rebellion in the outskirts in the human claim lands. However, the mask figure managed to track them down and killed numerous groups of them, The boy you see right there is named Marcus and he was one of the leaders of the little rebellion that was still going on. However, when he was out with his group, he was ambushed by the mask figure and everyone and his group was killed instantly since they didn't have the manpower to defeat the mask one and he was the only sole survivor and was followed back instantly. Marcus backed his father to flee the base so they can fight for another day, but his father refused knowing that they'll still continue to be tracked down no matter what happens, unfortunately the soldiers were still no match including general Tjx stood no chance against him. When he was about to engage a battle between Marcus and his father. Marcus led out all of his power and managed to lay several blows on him and wounded him a bit. However, the masked one Master came out of nowhere during the confrontation and killed Marcus's father who was trying to de-escalate the situation. Marcus was later thrown into the water by the masked one, and he dissolved in it.
