So in case if y'all have forgotten X and the majority of his family can resist water and that means he won't be able to be dissolved in it like most inklings and octolings. This gives him a massive advantage during salmon run and he can dive into the water catching the salmon off guard if they're on land. However, since the water is a bit murky, he won't be able to see the salmon approaching on the different sides during high tide or whatever tired they are during the shifts. So after this particular shift he was given a little lesson to some of the agents he hasn't seen at a long time. Agent 6 and 7 were invited to go along with him. Of course they were freaking out and they honestly had forgotten that X was resistant to water. The salmonling you see in the background is actually agent 9, he pops up sometimes when the agents are during the shifts by themselves.
