Axolotl are cool, strange creatures, and because of their 'between' development lives (since they can be forced to finish growing to a 'final' form, I thought it would be fitting to draw them suspended between the elements they're familiar with (Air and Water). Also I kind of wanted to continue the theme of including sun and moon aspects and general subtle weirdness.
I also finally made one that was big enough to qualify for the poster size on Redbubble!
