Mal needed to do some hacking, Ophelia suggested her place (and bought a top end brand new laptop just because she could and didn't have one.) then got bored and threw a party in the background while Mal -broke into the Seneshal's email-. The base was apparently loud enough to make the laptop start wandering so I imagine he's also dealing with his glasses getting rumbled down his nose, which is part of why he's so distracted he hasn't lit his cigarette. That and you know. -The email of powerful vampires- who seem to have direct involvement in deliberately hooking others on changeling blood, possibly to disrupt plans for a universal hospital for the supernatural intended to help make the city a neutral territory for all creatures.
