Usually when Benson wants to stop a fight quickly, he'll strike a critical pressure point. Like below the armpit, or just barely below the pectoral area. A swift punch usually drops them in seconds.

Yeah it does. Pressure point attacks always do the trick. Xavier's Gravity Pulse is used for submission or air take-downs. The longer the victim struggles, the faster they will pass out.

Now if anyone tries to hurt Nicole in any way, he'll make sure his punches land as efficiently as possible. He'll even throw elbows to their knees if it will drop them.

She definitely was a hero though. If she didn't do it, the whole world would have been roboticized. This was just part one of Benson's emotional breakdown. Second part was when Nicole refused to even go in her body form anymore, number three was when Ixis became kind, and the nail in the coffin was when Jeffrey St. John was pardoned from a treason charge. So after that, he just went to Freedom HQ, hoping to get Nicole back on her feet to try and get at least one of his friends back. He wasn't in the mood for losing two.
