Sandbox is the Duseritile sample from the planet Equitan. They have a lot of predators that want to munch on their squishy meat bodies, so they have holes on their body that they can use to draw in dust and sand, which they then mix with a bodily substance and hardens into a cement like structure. They use this to shape armour onto themselves.
