Description
Here's some more Random Items that you will use throughout the gameThe Rapid Boots-You will get these as soon as you see an old inventor and beat the 2nd boss, Blind The Slicer, but it requires you to get a gear off of his arms that you blew apart...Once you do that, take the gear to the old inventor, and he'll gladly start building on a prototype for you since he has all the required material, all he needed was a Rupin industries Gear that he couldn't get from Rupin Industries(hintity hint hint, Old inventor is a former business rival of Rupin)...They are optional, but required for certain side quests...Link can run in this game idea, the Rapid Boots can make you twice as fast, and holding down the run button makes Link plow through foes
The Jabu-Jabu Scale-Automatically given to you when you beat Mekagohma, but you can only get it if you've met Ruto along the way, yes, Ruto is optional in the 3rd dungeon....Link can swim in this game, but he can't breathe underwater, getting the Jabu-Jabu Scale fixes that and is required for certain side quests since the Jabu-Jabu Scale is optional itself and not really required to endure dungeons but makes the obligatory Water Dungeon all the more easier once you get to it
The Goron Amber-Also another optional upgrade to you...It's for Link to endure hot as hades areas, as well as the thin oxygen in volcanic regions...This is given to you as soon as you find a robot that was made by the old inventor, and this robot as well as this robot's many clones act as shopkeepers in this universe (Yes, we've got some Claptraps in this universe! "Helloooooooo, Traveler!")...The robot can be found early on in Act 1, but won't give you the amber until somewhere later in Act 2...Finding the robot open's up the shop options and the collectible side quests you do for shopkeepers...The Goron Amber would make the Arms Depot, which is a dungeon much later in the game, easier...mainly because of all the hot ash, molten steel, and steam vents you'd have to deal with in that dungeon
The Titan's Gauntlets-Last Optional Upgrade...This one you can only get in Act 2, You have to meet Malon again before getting into the dungeon, and find a pair of Power Gauntlets, taking these to the Old Inventor as well as a power source from the dungeon, he'll modify the gauntlets and now Link can lift things 8 times his size...so giant boulders are now nothing to him, and it is needed for certain side quests since Link can lift large rocks anyways
The Megaton Hammer-The Dungeon item from the first Dungeon used against The Helmasaur King, this item can pound down wooden stakes which can be puzzles that need to be solved in order to get some items like Heart Pieces for example
The Gerudo Revolver-Given to you by Nabooru as the 2nd dungeon item..Used to shoot the bells to distract Blind The Slicer and destroy Blind's Arms, this one can shoot down close range targets, and the ammo can be upgraded from normal, to anti-personnel, to armor-piercing, is a good side arm for when you run out of ammo from the other gun based item...Edit: Upgraded it can Lock on to six targets that are close together like Red Dead Redemption
The Minish Pocketwatch-AH! This Item is given to you in Dungeon 5 against the fifth boss...This Item will make you shrink to tiny levels, where you can find other hidden objects not seen by the naked eye
