Unlike the slew of future Freedom Fighters that were captured by Robotnik and "That Freak", Rotor was one of the few that managed to evade capture...As years went buy he found a fascination in robotics, especially dismantling the enemy robots...Knowing the circuits, reading the blueprints, learning how they work, as Rotor continued to grow his mind, he became the lead engineer of the Freedom Fighters, and soon he would cross paths with his new apprentice, Tails...If it wasn't for Rotor's mechanical genius, the remaining of them that night would have been captured or worse.
