I'm trying out art style inking and coloring.
This is a redraw of a quick art piece I did for some dude who did a game online for free.
He really dug it too, bt I felt I could re do it. You know... improve.

Remus and Romulus.
Purportedly real purportedly mythical, maybe both,
They were born in the Latin region of Abalonga. Both twins were Sired by the union between a vestal virgin named Rhea Silvia and the god she was devoted to Mars. She was the daughter of the former king Numitor, and the one who deposed him, King Amulius, saw the twins as a threat so he had them abandoned in the Tiber river.
When they grew, they later build a competent fighting force to overthrow their uncle.
and were destined to create a mighty civilization called Rome.
After many battles, they went to see an augur to settle who should lead and what name to give the city, they were asked to settle this by stating who had seen the most birds, Remus stated he saw 6, but his brother saw 12, Remus argued he won because he said he saw 6 first, and they argued on to a standstill...
So apparently theres several accounts as to how Remus was offed by his brother Romulus.
You know when siblings argue and one starts acting like a complete arse and he pushes too far then word becomes blood?
yeah.
So after arguin over who saw how many birds and got dibs, Romulus starts building trenches to set up a wall on his land, and Remus starts
petty sibling mockery. Now all is swell and dandy till Remus jumps over the wall and:
-here is where the variants appear, please correct because believe it or not my gallery is kind of my own version of a scholastic art dump...
1- Remus hops over the wall ticking off everybody and one of his brother's supporters flings a spear or a farming toot at him taking his life
2-Remus hops over the wall and falls to his death. His grieving brother throws a funeral with full honors and takes this as a sign that he's the one fit to lead
3- Romulus commits fratricide... which is where most accounts agree.. Now he didn't deserve that but he was probably on his last nerve and being king is pretty tempting... but I wasn't there... I'm not a historian, I am open for corrections though.
