History:- Echo and Myst are the first gods to have existed and responsible for the creation of the other gods as well as the realms ((Heaven, Hell, Shadow realm ect)) though they did not create earth or the demons, angels and other such beings but rather created other beings able to create as they could ((other gods)) and watched what they created. Echo and Myst are revered by the other gods as being the highest of gods and are the most powerful that exist though they have long since been forgotten by most any other beings other than the gods. They are described often as being the opposite of each other as one ((Echo)) is said to represent light as they created Heaven, the realm of souls and the realm where earth and the universe is created though while they created the sun and many of the stars, Myst created the moon and the other stars. Myst is viewed as the god of darkness being the one that created Hell, The Shadow realm and the darker moon though both gods remain perfectly neutral. Little is known about the gods prior their creating the other gods and realms though they seem to be rather anti-social with the other gods they created and only seem to bear a close friendship with each other. This could simply be that they were alone with only each other for so long that they simply are used to only having each other and see no need in other friendships though it is unconfirmed. While they have created little since the creation of the realms and gods, they seem to take a fancy to watching the things the other gods create. Unlike most gods, the genders of Echo and Myst remain ambiguous as they both have switched frequently between both though it is thought that they are both originally female since they seem to spend more time in their female like forms.
Personality:- ((Myst)) Thought to be greatly influenced by their anti-social behaviour towards the other gods, Echo and Myst spend most their time on the main feature created by the gods; earth, though this may simply be fascination with what the gods created. Myst seems to be the more dominant of the two with a more forward character and almost leader-like in some ways. They are very confident in their own abilities as well as those of Echo's leading them to come across sometimes as rather arrogant and sees the other gods as below them, stating that it didn't matter how much the other gods created since they were the original two who created the other gods in question. They are easily irritated by conversation about them and Echo that spreads from time to time across the other gods and replies simply that the other gods should spend their time creating or looking after what they created rather than trying to figure out things they will never know about them and Echo as well as stating that it is their job to look after what they created and that this belief is the only reason they and Echo ever spend time in the realm of the gods though Echo has never confirmed nor denied this. While on earth they are more outgoing and not so easily annoyed though this could be because no one on earth knows about them or Echo; a fact they seem to delight in. Unlike Echo, Myst doesn't entertain them-self well and so frequently drags much human attention to them-self when Echo is not around them ((they do separate when on earth sometimes)) They spend a lot of time in clubs or bars with a female form to attract human attention; their desire for attention could explain their use of un-natural and eye catching hair and eye colours constantly when on earth. Myst also has a love borderline obsession with fire and will happily watch fires burn for days on end. This leads them to later developing a great liking of Lahara's two god gifted, the pyromaniac Lycander and Pyrite ((their liking of Pyrite causes slight conflicts between them and Lyer)) They will often spends days hunting them down just to request them to put on a show for them with their adept abilities using fire. Being 'children' of a sort of the goddess Lahara, they are two of the few beings anywhere outside the realm of gods who know who Echo and Myst truly are; hence why they consent without argument when Myst requests them to play with fire for them. ((Echo)) Echo is a far more calm and sedate character who is much more inclined to stay quiet behind Myst and is fascinated more by the way of thinking inhabited by the creatures outside the gods, leading one of their preferred hobbies to simply observing people ((usually humans)) from the shadows. Unlike Myst, they prefer to remain silent and in the shadows away from where attention can be pulled towards them from the humans or anyone else. Echo seems to have a preference watching disasters and observing how people react to them though they seem rather nonchalant as to the actual suffering of people and does not cause disasters them-self; their only interest seems to be to observe how humans react to such situations
