Her hand is clasped tightly in his. The eye patch toting boy isn't too far away from them despite the mess of people swaying this way and that way, eyes masks placed on faces to hide identities. But the black haired demon knew this woman well enough to tell who she was mask or not.

"Which one of them is it?" Sebastian asks her.

"I can't tell you, Sebastian." She responds.

"You know it would make things easier if it did, my love." He chuckles.

She shakes her head gently at him. "No, it would make things much worse."

"Mm, how so?" He tries to press the issue.

"Because it'd be me you're looking for." Her eyes fall from his. Sebastian's grip on her hand and waist tightens significantly as they continue to sway with the other ball guests.

"What do you mean, (Y/N)?"

"It's my doll, Sebastian. I ordered her to do it."

There's a disappointed look in his eyes when she finally looks up at him. "I couldn't save them, I tried so hard to cleanse them, to purify them, but their souls were too filthy to fix. I needed to do something. Please understand me." A Fallen one begging him to understand her was new to the demon. "Please forgive me." A Fallen one asking him for forgiveness was definitely something that would never happen again.

"I have to get rid of the doll, (Y/N)."

"Okay." She sighs quietly, leaning into his figure.

"(Y/N)," he says quietly. "You know what I have to do if this happens again, right?"

"It's okay, Sebastian. I understand. I can't promise to stop trying to fix those impure souls, but I understand that you have to do what's necessary." But just the thought of Sebastian having to rid himself of her was something that the demon wasn't ready for just yet, and he somewhat hoped that she'd stop before he'd have to handle things the way he did when he had to destroy Ash/Angela.
