The land really looks barren...the sky is a bit unflatering though as it kinda plain.

excellent layout, the landscape seems to be lost to the sky. The colors really give a feeling of an abandoned land.

I like the fact that you've gone for a portrait not landscape shot for this. In some ways it is ordinary but then if you apply the title to it the fact that it's in portrait enhances the enclosed/desolate nature you were going for. A nice piece Xecho.
