this is a creature I sculpted a few months ago. I call it Cat Faun as I think it has a the look of a cat and a goaty faun type thing. Anyway it's sculpted in W,E,D and took just two days.As always any crits or comments are very welcome.

Oh my lands. This is brilliant. I'm taking a creature sculpting class, and was thinking about doing a cat faun type creature as well, but it won't be as nearly astounding as yours, seeing as I'm a beginner.

WED is a water based clay that has glycerine added so it doesn't dry out to quick. That makes it perfect for sculpting creatures, it was developed by the imaginers at Disney hence the name WED, Walter Elias Disney.

cat-faun looks great again i love the texture of the skin esspecially around the neck and collar bone area, great stuff, are you going to be putting up a picture of this when you complete it?

Unfortunatley the cat faun never got finished due to the fact I smashed the mould by mistake. I would like to re-visit her one day so keep an eye out for that. Thank you for the kind words by the way they really do mean a lot to me .

All of your sculptures are so beautiful! I am amazed by the detail that is in this, and your other sculptures. The light hits this really well, especially around the eyes.
