Description
I find I haven't really created much of my own.

This occurred to me after my picture of Darkseid. My mother - who at some point or another ends up seeing most of the stuff I draw - asked if he was something I had come up with, and of course the answer was "no." Which, for some reason, I found embarrassing. As I thought more, I realized that many of the characters I have created have a basis in something pre-existing: The characters in my "Welcome to The World R:2" and "Welcome to Ivalice" pictures are set in .Hack//G.U. and Final Fantasy respectively, Dion the Gunslinger is a character of mine from Ragnarok Online, Zach Barren was made using items from Gaia Online, Kelneir is from the Exalted RPG...and so on.

So I decided to make something distinctly mine. And I went about doing so by taking elements of these characters, mixing them together, and adding a bit of myself.

And since "Xerit" is the username I use pretty much everywhere, I gave him that name.
