Lit by Transformative Integration

I do a lot of faces so I wanted to work on a figure to expand my range. I decided to explore some concepts on how integration and transformation as expressed by butterflies, vision, a mitochondrion and a serpent feed back into our own path of growth.

The butterflies are a classic symbol of transformation, able to invest the energy they’ve consumed while caterpillars become capable of more. The spherical eye covers learning through the observation of others, wisdom like other fields  is served by honoring the wisdom of others and learning instead of continuously trying to recreate the wheel. Mitochondria represent that some problems are simply outside the range of energy we have to invest and when a chronic drain ends or a new resource appears it cultivates growth. The serpent is a consuming energy to take all of these formats of growth and bring them together in one form.

The seated figure holds the serpent, wielding it as an intentional integration to become more.

How are you resisting your own positive change? What are low hanging fruit that  may make embracing change in ways that are meaningful to you more accessible? Where is energy locked up in your life that could be opened to invest in things that matter to you?

May the light of positive transformation bless all lives,

–Isicera
