Description
A catastrophic event struck Earth in the year 2376 when all insects died off rapidly. This first baffled the scientific community until they found the cause - the use of the substance called Crystalline Poneuteon, which unbeknownst to humanity was a potent toxic to every hymenoptera.

This event caused widespread famines, civil unrest and eventually total disaster. That was until professor Jurgen Hofmeister came along with the answer - the creation of the Wasp X-3000. It would be mankind's last hope for salvation.

The Wasp X-3000 is machine of true wonder; a self-replicating, autonomous mechanical insect wielding the powers of pollinator and predator. It was hoped that their introduction into the ecosystem would regenerate and revive the farming industry.

My process for making this: Experimenting with prompts in Disco Diffusion > photobashing and editing in Photoshop > post editing (color correction, sharpening, etc).
