My most recent WIP. I wanted to draw Rochelle reading under a tree, but somehow it ended up being a minute or two into an accidental nap whilst reading under a tree.

Either way! I've got a serious love/hate relationship going on with this piece. I know I still need to fix her legs (both of them. badly. OTL) and her left hand, and obviously her shorts aren't done yet, buuut.. I'm basically finished with the line art from the waist up and of the book. Huzzah!

I started this piece on 07-12-10, so I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made. I'm taking this piece seriously (so far anyway), I really want to work on making my line art not suck. Probably spent about 7 hours on this piece so far, about 2 on the original sketch and at least 5 so far on perfecting the lines.

Please please please critique the upper half of her body/the book (except for the spine, I'm not worried about that line right now). I feel like her left shoulder needs fixing, but I don't really know how to change it, short of thinning out the whole arm. =\ We'll see~

Oh yeah, also, ref photo used (as per usual).
