my new project for the summer, to make sure that I practice drawing these next couple months. I've been planning to watch all my old Disney movies in order just to relive my childhood, while at the same time, appreciating how animation has changed since 1937

so here's the first installation of said project: kndisney...yeah, I know, silly, right? oh well, I thought it'd be fun. plus, I know that a few people have already done this, most notably . still, I wanted to do my own version of things.

so I skipped 101 Dalmations 2, The Jungle Book 2, and Stitch! 'cause they're all sequels, Brother Bear 'cause I don't own it and I can't find it anywhere (even Netflix only has the sequel), and Home on the Range 'cause I really don't like it

ah, here's a childhood favorite: The Three Musketeers. I've always enjoyed this movie (even though I didn't really understand what was going on the first time i'd watched it), but I do remember it being the highlight of 7th grade world geography (MAN, that class was boring!) I've always hoped for a sequel for it (even though sequels are never as good as their predecessors), though I feel that if and were to be in charge of the story and animation, it'd be really good (seriously, go check out their galleries)

so anyway, I already had an idea of what to do going into this from reading a fanfic years ago making fun of this (if I ever find it, i'll let you know) that casted nigel as mickey, wally as goofy, and hoagie as Donald. this all made sense considering they fit the roles well (wally being kinda stoopid and hoagie being a scaredy-cat). watching it though, I was tempted to switch 'em around. I mean, wally's the shortest, which was mickey's downfall, plus Minnie was a hopeless romantic, but nigel didn't fit as goofy at all. so after batting them back and forth for a while, I figured i'd just stick to the original plan. so this is the very beginning as troubadour is setting the scene with his comic book. I feel as if i've drawn them too young but I blame that on the fact that I was in a hurry and needed to finish quickly
