In this tutorial, we are only dealing with five basic materials that are commonly use in character design. In this chapter, we will study matt (mostly found in basic fabric), metal, leather, skin and hair. In part 2 (term 10), we will discuss further on more additional materials that can be found in character design also.
I am trying to keep this one simple to begin with so you can understand why do we do material study and to get you start on the right track of what make them different.
