This is the first pic I've seen made by you and the style looks really good! I can't say if it looks diffrent, but anyway ^_^ (I'll check out the rest of the gallery later)
I really like the coloring. It's really well shaded and higlighted and the pose of the character looks great. The interesting blend of green in the cape/jacket and the purple in the white fur and shirt blends very well into the outfit.
