If Civil War thru Infinity War Part 1 & 2 follow the story pattern from Civil War to Secret Invasion (which seems likely), Cap will either "die" or go into an exile of some kind, so there is no Cap in IW Part 1. Thor will also probably "die" in Ragnarok. I'm matching data up with what the rumors that IW Part 1 will be Tony and a brand new team ala The Initiative (which allows Marvel to save Evans and Hemsworth for IW Part 2).

Leading up to Secret Invasion, Bucky had literally just become Cap and Thor had just returned to Earth and they both make their triumphant entrance at the tail end of Issue 4... much like a tag at the end of a film... such as the closing credits of Infinity War Part 1 when all hope is lost. I imagine the Guardians, Cap and Thor will all show up for Part 2 to throw down with Thanos, and I thought the image of the three of them together again (since there is some kind of rift or falling out between them in Age of Ultron, Civil War and Ragnarok) would encapsulate the spirt of Infinity War Part 2.
