"The Aquamarine stone spirit who resides in the very depths of the ocean is the reason why abyssal life remains still largely untouched. Although forbidden to leave, the being secretly wishes for somebody to reach its dominion and release it, however no one has been brave enough to embark on such dangerous quest."Once again I wanted to revisit my very old Gemstones concepts, this time tying to perform a more environmental, scenic approach. This is based on the stone Aquamarine and as such depicts a deep underwater scene.
In the same fashion as my previous piece, my aim was to create an illustration that had the main focus on the stone itself but that'd be as well surrounded by a compelling environment.
