3 years. It already has been 3 years on this island. Dr. Lara is out in the wild as much as she can. The office and the lab are necessary but she needs to be where it is more...adventurous. And it never fails, because she is still discovering new species every trip out.

„This is so exciting“, she mumbles.

As the bird dropped its shining posession that is was just holding with its claws, Laras shoulders seemed to be more inviting so it hopped right on there.
„You're quite the curious one.“ Carefully Dr. Lara reaches into her pockets to grab a little manual she stole... erm borrowed from a fellow colleauge who is recording the specimens on this island. „Let's see if you are already recorded“. With slow movements as to not scare away the bird she flips trough the pages. But the bird does not seem bothered at all.
