Okay Im a video gamer from 1976 and I had never even heard about "Five Nights At Freddys" game and I been seeing this image all around DA so can anyone tell me what the heck is this all about? BTW nice pic.

Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie horror game that came out in 2014.
It's currently available on Steam and Android. I believe the main reason why it had such a blast is because of the internet famous "let's players" on youtube. (pewdiepie, markiplier, game grumps ...)
The mechanics used in the game are pretty different to how most horror games work and the characters are pretty iconic.Β
The game costs 4.99$ on steam and its currently 33% off so you might wanna try it if you like original games and wouldn't mind a scare <;

Actually it was popular before the let's players, it had been out for a month or two and doing very well before anybody recorded it. (they had actually planned a sequel very shortly after the release- as they have done AGAIN with FNAF 3 coming up sometime 2015. Scott Cawthon is making the most out of this as he had no popular games before FNAF, and is doing the same as nintendo did with Mario, Sonic, Pokemon, and Legend of Zelda, he'll likely keep making new ones until a new idea finds the light or he gets bored, and will probably make well over three more games by 2016 or 2017.
