The single Player Commands mod makes it so creepers don't explode
(They do, however, run in circles around you which will quickly drive you nuts)

If you go on creative single player, if youre quick you can trap them in 2 block high walls, then expand to a nice little garden for them
I had about 6 pet creepers at one point...until fixing the wall i accidentally hit one, it blew up and chain reacted the others ;A; i was creeperless...and homeless... ;^;

if only.... - although there is the elemental creeper mod - theres a friendly creeper in it - its pink and has a heart on its chest - they act like wolves - you can make them stay or follow you - and theyll attack enemies

deadly - although there are other types of creepers in the mod aswell and they are lethal - half of them are harmless like the watercreeper - they look cool though cuz there are different colours

At first I hated creepers (for obvious reasons, I lost... so much iron and diamonds because of those bastards...) but slowly they grew on me.
And this, is adorable as hell. I now want a pet creeper complete with bell collar.
