Cannonically, Scott confirmed in FNAF 2 that Mangle is a girl. She's a part of the mode Ladies night in game, which is the mode when only the female animatronics come after you. You can consider Mangle to be male if you want, but you're still wrong as far as the cannon games go.

As far as nite-life terminology goes, ladies night is the night when a particular establishment has discounted merchandise for female customers.
