I've always wanted to cosplay as Samus Aran and loved her zero suit design.
It took me FOREVER to find fabric for this costume. Of course I've seen spandex versions of the zero suit but I wanted it to be vinyl. Thank goodness I ordered a swatch batch from this website and it ended up to be the perfect color (maybe a bit darker) AND it was 4 way stretch (BONUS!).
But oh no no no.......this fabric was hell. It was so thin, it would not sew and glue did not worked because the vinyl would rip off. So after getting totally frustrated with this, I sandwiched two strips of satin over every seam. Which unfortunately, made the suit a bit bulky and a pain in the ass to sew. The gloves especially. Well, after finishing the suit, I procrastinated on finishing the thing and ended up half assing the emblems 4AM in the morning on the day of the convention. Sorry Samus! :0
No gun yet, too lazy and I'll fix the emblems and make them better.
