Description
My artwork for Zygarde, the Dragon/Ground-Type "Z" Legendary known as the Order Pokémon from Pokémon X and Y. As soon as it was leaked last night I started drawing it. Had this art finished at 3 a.m. last night but could't get back online to upload it. Based on the images I saw, it seems some of the hexagon-shaped "scale" parts glow or sporadically blink white, so I reflected that in the artwork here. I'm kinda pleased with how this turned out.
Enjoy.
Edit: Added the shiny version.

Actually, that is not true. Ground is also weak to ice, so Zygarde still gets hit 4x times as effective. In the sequel or third game, there is a much higher chance for him to become much stronger like Kyurem did.

Oh, now that makes sense.

I'm also very sure that to make up for its disability to hit either Xerneas or Yveltal, is that Zygarde might learn some Steel, Poison and/or Rock-type attacks. If not, he can still use his own types to attack them, but in reverse direction; using Dragon-type attacks on Yveltal, and Ground-type attacks on Xerneas for full neutral damage, thus keeping "order" without actually overpowering either legendary.

Its ability is called Aura Break, and reverses the effects of the Aura abilities (Fairy Aura and Dark Aura) of Xerneas and Yveltal.

Well that's good, But half of it's stab moves are useless against either legendary.
Also, Xerneas seems to be getting all the type advantages to make up for it being mono-typed.

why does it matter though? o:
Groudon had to face Kyogre in an "equal" battle. Clearly concept and theme is what matters, not type advantage in a competitive face-off.

The thing is, yes concept is EXTREMELY important. But feels kind of ruined when said concept won't follow through in battle. Groudon and Kyogre was just as disappointing type advantage wise, ESPECIALLY with the addition of Rayquaza leaving Groudon to be useless against the rest of it's trio.
It's pretty much the main reason Black and White had such a great (almost) end battle, Because Reshiram and Zekrom had equal typing advantages.

Well, Rayquaza IS one-shotted by both Kyogre and Groudon anyway (they have huge movepools, but Ice attacks for a Water, or Rock attacks for a Ground, are quite easy to get). As for Groudon versus Kyogre, well, if Sun is up, Groudon will outdamage Kyogre via Earthquakes.
Not everything is type advantage. Still, Zygarde has it quite rough, seeing it doesn't get much in the way of Steel and Poison attacks. At least it can Stone Edge Yveltal into the ground, but, as it is, it was made to be inferior stat-wise. So, again, expect a new forme, or even Mega Zygarde, for Z.

So, a Snake/Dragon looking pokemon? It looks pretty cool to me.
