As far as I can tell,the code Geass title refers to a couple of things.
Firstly the "Code", I think refers to, either the personal codes of honor and pride and duty everyone in the series portrays or, alternatively, the Geass ability rewriting the neurological codes of those it effects.
"Geass", is a corruption of the Irish term Gais, which makes reference to the Earth and its natural power, hence Gaea (the Spirit of Earth).
But alas, I digress, a wonderfully comedic "look" at two of animes most brilliant characters, well done.
