While only a half-page sketch under a silly little comic, this was the picture that inspired me to do the Zanpakuto Release Series. It was originally entitled "Impale him, Shinso!", but I've got to save that title for the newer picture I drew when I actually knew what I wanted with the series. I couldn't just ignore this one though, as I'm actually very pleased with how it came out, so here it is.

Ichimaru Gin. Stand alone, shoot from afar. And what are you hiding behind those closed eyes and constant smile?
