I'm not really happy with this.Anybody have any ideas of how to make it look more ladybugish?

It is great... the ONLY thing that I can see possibly doing differently if you really want to make it more bugish would be to photoshop two of the eyelashes from the bottom of the eye upward... making them look like antenna.
And I think it's phenomenal as is, honestly, but you asked.

Hm that's a good idea. I was gonna do something like that, but with the veins of the eye. Changed my mind though.

it would look much better if you cropped around your eye, leaving out your hair and nose
