She was raised in a jewelery shop, watching her mother carefully as she made jewelry.
When she was 5 her mother taught her how to make them. Her father was a drug addict though. One night when she was 7 she was sleeping and she heard a gunshot. She quickly ran out to see her dead mom on the floor and her father run out. She called the police and the ambulence. They arrested her father, who shot a dirty look back at her, and they took her mother to the hospital, were she died several hours later. She was taken to foster care were she met her three friends: Cookie Crumble,Marmalade, and Dusty. They were BFF's nut she'd never forget her mom and what happened that day. She then took on her mom's job at 11 and bought a house for her and her friends in Canterlot.
