Bio: Gem as a little baby was orphaned.. She grew up on the streets of Canterlot, hardly surviving her whole life, she begged for extra food, clothing during the harsh cold winter, bits, but most of the snooty ponies of Canterlot turned her down. She lived in a box that used to hold a refrigerator. She thought for lots of her life: why doesn't anyone want me, what is my true life meaning, why am I even here? and so on. She could never really answer these questions. But one day it all changed, she saw a pair of earrings with a necklace fall out of a pony's purse. She dashed out and grabbed them then went back to her box. She studied these shiny objects as much as she could, she watched the ponies day and night walking by, she noticed that most of them had these wierd shiny objects like the one she found on there ears and neck. So she put them on her self. All of a sudden her horn glowed up for one of the first times, then it flashed a bright white and then she appeared in a warm building. She was inside an abandoned shop. A jewelery shop! There were tons of the shiny objects all around! She squealed with excitement. Except all the shiny objects where missing something... So Gem fixed every single one in the store. She put them up on old models. She was really tired out. But she noticed she still needed to fix the ones she was wearing! She stayed there for one day and one night without any sleep, she was making these accessories perfect. At 3:59am she finally finished. As she put a sparkling crystal Gem on the middle of the earrings and necklace. Her horn glowed and shined, she was lifted up in the air, then she crashed to the ground. She got up, looked around, and there on her blank flank was a cutie mark! It was the crystal gems she put on the accessories she was wearing. But now the rest is history.
