In other news, I'm being brave. I'm being very brave. In that I'm actually on dA. When there's a computer-eating virus floating around on it.
...I can only take being away from beautiful artwork for so long, though.

Moving along: I kept listening to this one song and fell in love with it. At first, I kept thinking of the relationship (as in canonical friendship) between Xigbar and Roxas (as seen in 358/2 Days) - mostly about Xigbar's possible conflicting thoughts between his role and expected duties within the organization and Roxas.

...And I was in the car with nothing but my ipod while all this was going on. Alas, since the figure came out too lanky to be Xigbar's, and I didn't have a decent reference picture of him at the time...this came out to be Axel.

Axel probably has conflicting thoughts about Roxas and his expected roles, too - including his previous friendship with Saix (again, a good idea to use a particular scene in 358/2 Days for reference to this; Saix actually expresses something close to jealousy and calls Axel 'Lea' when he brings up the topic of Axel's and Roxas's closeness. Saix also mentions something along the lines of Axel disregarding their own friendship.)

And yes, I do feel Axel's arm is a wee bit shorter than it should be. Also, Roxas's hair is a sin against man to draw. D: There will probably be some composition revamping in the next version as well as surgical procedures on Axel's arm...

Note: That's not a heart randomly floating in the air. xD That's meant to be the "Kingdom Hearts" moon/collection of hearts in the sky.
