Say hello to another cartoon I've just re-discovered; Code Lyoko. I remembered it when I heard this song being played in a random playlist I set up on YouTube. I'm rewatching the episodes, and the thing that struck me was how much Odd was my favorite character.

So, guess what Rae-Rae did?

This is Odd Della Robbia, the Italian clown and pretty kitty boy of the Lyoko group. He maintains a 65% grade average, despite being a fairly serious student. He gets high art and PE scores, and spends his free time playing guitar, drawing, music-composing and skateboarding. He shares a room with Ulrich, and ignores the school's pet policies by having his dog Kiwi in the dorm room.

A recurring theme with Odd are the cracks about his height and size compared to what he eats. Although it's not obvious because he wears platform-sole shoes, he's the smallest of the group and the slimmest, yet eats about 3 times as much.

On Lyoko, Odd is dressed as what he describes as a "giant purple cat". His forehead and cheeks both have 'claw' markings, and his tail and claws are highly useful. While some people might be a little confused as to why he's a cat on Lyoko and not a dog, as he seems to be a dog person, I say it's simply because he's so damn lithe. He's extremely flexible and gymnastic, which helps when dodging shots and attacks. His claws provide the ability to climb up, over and under pretty much anything, and his primary weapons are the lasor arrows he can launch from his gloves. For seasons 1 and 2, he can see the future at random intervals, then loses it as Jeremy upgrades them all.
