What? She is not jut a loner, and is not like everybody loves her. Her first encounter with Knuckles was almost a fight because she was rude, same with Sonic, wich in the zone 7 ended in a fight.
Issues? She is stubborn, she is not sociable at all (at least until the end of Sonic Rush), she has a cold personality, she is flat-chest (well, that's and issue just for her), and because of her desire of make everything alone, her world is almost destroyed.

You see, blaze is never antagonized the way that Knuckles is for those flaws. much less, the stories and fans just GLORIFY blaze whenever she acts like a loner, passing her off as deep or some shit like that.

Well, the fans doesn't states how is the character - the creator does. She is not loved by everyone, she is not dating the main character, she has flaws, she make mistakes; she is not a Sue.
The way she is treated by the fans is a different topic.
