Around this time of year, you always appreciated the more intense parts of the training regiment. Not because you were necessarily good at them, not that you were bad at it either, but it did keep you warm in the cold air. Running laps was probably the best thing to do in this weather because it kept you warm and moving, but 3D maneuver gear training was hard as Hell.

Normally, you loved the feeling of practically flying. It was one of the main reasons you tried so hard to be a soldier, the feeling of freedom that came with the 3DMG. The air would whip past your face and you would easily bounce around the forest, occasionally throwing in some flips and other unnecessary moves to just show off your skill on the gear. But as the weather changed, so did your opinion on the training. The cold air practically beat against you skin relentlessly as you made your way through the forest. The chill in the air penetrating your clothes and skin, sinking in to your bones.

As you finished up with the days practice, you moved quickly to make your way in doors. The small change in temperature was not enough to warm you up from the chill that had taken over your very being. You're only choice was to throw on your warmest clothes you had with you, which consisted of a [f/c] sweater and some jeans.

You shivered, still not being able to quite shake this chill you had. 'Dammit, why can't I just warm up quickly...' You cursed the terribly chilly fall weather you were having, sitting in your room for a bit rubbing your hands together, trying your hardest to warm up some. After a bit of time, with little luck, you made your way to the dining hall in hopes that the conglomeration of bodies in the building would be enough to warm you up.

As you entered, you noticed that Mikasa, Eren, and Armin were already where you guys normally sit. As you approached you smiled at your friends, greeting them happily, "hey guys!"

Eren, who was sitting alone on his side of the table smiled back, "Hey, [f/n]." You sat next to him, and across from Armin, who smiled at you as you sat down. Mikasa gave her normal head nod of acknowledgement.

"Jeez, how do you guys all look so warm already, I'm still freezing from being outside!" You complain, hugging yourself in a small attempt to warm up.

Arming laughed lightly at you, and Mikasa looked over at you nonchalantly, "Well, maybe if you wore long sleeved shirts with your uniform you would be warmer."

You puffed out your cheeks at this, "I don't have any besides my sweaters, and they won't fit in the uniform jacket! Plus you have that cozy scarf, so don't talk to me." You jokingly pursed your lips and crossed your arms turning your head away from her.

She simply rolled her eyes as she caught you peeking your eye open and looking at her to make sure she didn't take you seriously. You broke your pose and giggled, "Sorry Mikasa, I was just joking, please talk to me~" you pleaded, reaching your arms across the table, hands going out to touch her arm.

She simply glanced at you and moved her arm away so you couldn't touch her, a smirk appearing on her face, but being hidden by her scarf. "Mikasa, nooooo~ Don't be like that~" you whined giving your best puppy dog eyes at her. Only to have her scoot farther away.

At this point both Eren and Armin were laughing, and you could feel Eren's chest move as he laughed because you had inadvertently gotten into his space as you were basically crawling on the table, pleading with Mikasa to talk to you. At the realization, you blushed and moved back to your seat, putting your hands in your lap. Eren didn't seem to have noticed your closeness, or your sudden awkwardness now. You finally realized that no one had food yet, "Did you guys not get your food yet?" You looked at them all quizzically.

Armin smiled, "Not yet, we were waiting for you..." You smiled at the response as everyone started to get up to get, hopefully warm, food. Armin leaned over to you and quietly continued his statement, "...as per Eren's suggestion."

You blushed at this, why would Eren want everyone to wait, you guys always just got your food as you got here. It is true that you tended to be the last one here... Maybe he was tired of you being the last one eating? Yeah, that's probably it. You shrugged off any further thoughts.

As you all had gotten your food and returned to your table, your favorite food bum came over to see if she could convince any of you into 'giving to charity'. No one else would share, but you had an extreme soft spot for the cute, hungry soldier. You broke your bread in half and handed half of it to her. She happily took it from your hand with her mouth and hugged you.

You smiled at this action and hugged her back, "[f/n]!! You are always soooooo nice to meeee~!" She hugged you tightly, and you couldn't help but giggle at this point. She eventually got off of you and headed to some other tables, you watched her for a bit, not even noticing the small glare that Eren had the entire time she had been hugging you.

"Ah! I'm finally starting to feel warm!" You smiled happily and munched on some bread, "I think that hug probably helped some."

Armin nodded in understanding, "Well, she would have given you some of her body heat through the contact."

You nodded in agreement, "I guess I'll just need lots of hugs this season to stay warm," you smiled and went back to eating, again not noticing the expressions of the man next to you, as his face covered with a small blush from your words.

As dinner had come to an end, you were the last one eating, probably cause you talked to much with everyone instead of eating. Mikasa and Armin had already headed back to their rooms, and Eren stayed with you while you finished putting up your stuff. "Thanks for staying with me, Eren. It must be such a bother to always have to wait for me." You smiled up at him, and started to make your way to the door.

Eren grabbed your wrist and stopped you, you turned and looked at him confused. As there was no one else around, Eren took this opportunity, and pulled you into a hug. You immediately burst into a deep red blush at the sudden intimate contact. "[f/n]... If...if you're ever cold... I will give you hugs...ok?" You looked up at him and saw he was also blushing. "I just...don't want anyone else to hug you..."

"I...Eren..." You just so flustered at this point you couldn't talk. So instead of letting you bumble over your words and longer, he cut you off.

"I like you [f/n]" and then he pulled you into a kiss. It wasn't too strong, but it was very sweet, and after the initial shock, you managed to kiss him back.

"I-I like you t-too, Eren!" You were a blushing mess at this point, and you could feel the large amounts of heat that had been released onto your face. You hugged him, hiding your face into his chest. He simply smiled and hugged you close. "I won't hug anyone but you..."
