No matter how prolific i am it was truly impossible for me to finish this painting in less than 45 days. Almost 350 hours of work.

the hours really exhausted me in the end, i dont know how other artists are faster than me working with oils, how can i be faster when a medium needs a week to dry on one layer?
but at least i did put these hours on a good use i think

the biggest obstacle with this one was in fact the medium. Oil paints take too long to dry and it was a torture when i had to wait 5 days for the in between layers to dry to the touch so i could proceed to the next layer.
