INTRODUCTION

It was time for the trail to begin. Astraeus and Adora would start later in the year. Catching up to the others around May time. They had been called out to accompany the other riders on the trail when they had all mysteriously lost their way during the start of the May phase. The compasses didn't work anymore. The maps were distorted. And both the horses and riders were panic stricken. Adora steeled herself as she rounded the corner to the water jump. She wasted no time with horse boxes and galloped full pelt through the Tanglewood cross country course, over the Pennines and eventually, she would arrive at the starting area and where the rest of the competitors were. "Come on!" She clicked Astraeus and he leapt over the jump with all the power and force he could muster, and landed in the water with a huge splash. The horse reared and splashed about the water, trying to show off his power to Adora. "Let's go, they could have been killed by now Astraeus! You yourself know how dangerous it can be, and if it is what I think. They're already dead..." Astraeus and Adora galloped off into the distance, what they would encounter nobody knew.
