My fiance and I had been wanting to do a stair/step photo-shoot for some time but we hadn't had a chance to hunt around town for a suitable location. "If it were a snake it would have bitten us," I remember saying to myself when we discovered this set of steps just out back of our apartment complex. I made use of two off camera flashes for this shot.... One was shot through an extra large white umbrella as close to the model as was possible. The other strobe was gelled blood red, hidden well to the rear of the model, and pointed up the stairwell in the far back.
