I saw the new designs and didn't like the ironman feeling of the new suits, so I decided to paint my own designs, trying to keep more of the original ones.adrianr.artstation.com/

BTW, it looks good... liked the more unique feel of each design.

I really like these suits, The helmets were an important part of the original suit's designs and I thought the movie really dropped the ball there. I also like how these suits have a bit of an "armoured" and "modernized" feel to them without sacrificeing the coulour and distinct design of the originals.Β
Also thank you for keeping those stupid "heels and boob plate" things the movie did away from these

The movie's exoskeleton suits don't seem so much "Iron Man-y" who looks like he's wearing a bulky machine as they're based on the original movie's suits but with the plastic-like texture replaced by a more flat bismuth-like/marbled patteren and more spandex-iness then the original which had none and of course the diamond or "dino-like teeth" pattern simply being the window to the cosmic energy (According to Becky Gomez/Trini Kwan who's said it's "the energy of the galaxy" etc. In an IGN interview) aka Morphin' Grid (Because Zordon called "Grid" a cosmic energy/universal power). As one of the few PR fans who can say I've watched/studied all Power Rangers multiple times ("Few" compare to those who stopped watching and missed out on some good stuff.

This looks cool! I'm always of the these MMPR artworks with organic textures for the suits due to them basically being part animal. Do they have the Power Coins on them anywhere? And do you plan on redesigning 'In Space', 'Lightspeed Rescue', 'Time Force', 'Wild Force', 'Ninja Storm' and/or so on? (Fingers crossed. Please say yes please say yes so many DeviantArtists reject redesigning characters from seasons of post-1995

great illo, seriously bad ass render, I don't see that much of a new design here, I bet you can come up with something way cooler being such a fan an everything, c'mon give it a shot ^^

That was part of the goal, just a refresh of the classic suits, trying something cleaner and futuristic without going to something like iron man's kind of armor as they did with the new designs. But yeah, I might try that later and give them something different.
