Done with alkyd oils, took me a few days.

Picture was taken with a camera, so the painting isn't as detailed as it is in real life.

I like the subject. But, I think you need more practice in painting( I know this is an old painting, so you may've gotten better, but I'm just basing this critique on what I see).

To be sure that you fill in all the pores of the canvas(directed at the palm leaves) I suggest turning your brush 90 degrees every few brush strokes.

I also suggest some more blending to make smoother transitions in the color of the sky.

Smoother edges and more details could also help you a lot. I've never used Alkyd Oils(I'm assuming they're different from regular oils, and not just a particular brand) so I don't know if you use medium like you would with regular oil paints. But if you use medium, you could add a tad more to make the paint flow into the pores easier, and get smoother lines.
