When I ship oc x canon and draw it, I do try to keep things in character personality wise. Remi's back story fits into the series after the events of episode 7. (Subject to change for future eps. Depending on what I gotta work to fit her in with)
With blitzo being afraid to..love and get close to anyone, shoving them away, thats kinda what happens with remi and him. Hence why he's turning down the chip sharing offer.
