Description
Just some sample sounds to help people make there utau.When recording sounds:
- Download Utau
- download audacity
-Record and Always make sure there at least 2 to 3 seconds long.
- make sure the names of the sounds are " Ah " nothing with Ah1, Ah2 utau cant read that.
- Make a folder to put them in with the utaus name for the folder.
- make sure the recordings are .wav files (recommend audacity)
- open "my computer"
- click " Local disk (C) "
- then click " program files "
- Find and click "Utau"
- click " voice"
- Drag your utaus sound folder that you created to " voice"
- open utau
- click Project the 5th option at the top.
- in the drop down click the 3rd one ( project property )
- youll see an arrow click it and the name drops down for you click it.
- then click Ok.
- Now we have to make FRQ files for an OTO.NI
- click the 7th one across tools.
- click the first option.
- click your sound and click the 2nd button on the bottom left.
- dont touch the black box its making your frq file for that sound so you can play songs with it.
- after its done repeat clicking each sound and doing so.
- right click on the piano part click the second option which is insert, youll see an R which is like a pause or space between words.
- Erase the R type in whatever your sounds name is " Ba "
- click the play button.
- then the black box comes up dont touch it, it will go away and your sound will play.

[usage]
1) expand the downloaded archive
2) rename "res_EN" directory to "res" (remove trailing "_EN")
3) put the "res" directory to UTAU program directory (C:\Program Files\UTAU\)
4) launch UTAU

OK~ you have nooo frq files at all and it seems you didnt cut down your sounds enough so most of the sounds come out as fuzz! D: you gotta cut the closer to the sound and when i make frqs for it it works fine.

Ah, shoot. ;w; I was told the length of the note didn't matter >< Plus, it was a friend who recorded all this for me, so I can't really say, "HEY RERECORD THIS ALLLL. ;w;"
But how did you get frqs to generate? I tried and absolutely nothing appeared in my folder. ><

Length does matter it has to be 2 seconds at the least and 3 is personally better then they can sing with longer notes and not get robotic.
Do you perhaps have a camera that records sound and video? If so i can cut the sound from the video and split each sound file into there own wav file; that way you wont need a mic, i did that with my best friend and her voice came out beautiful.
Well I open the tools section the the voice bank settings but you can open that by holding down crtl + G at the same time.Then Mr. box comes up and i right click the last option that lets you select multi then i hold down and select each note by highlighting it then i click the box on the bottom left right side one. then Mr.Black box comes up if you touch him your frq files will be messed up and it cant make a proper oto.ini. Then after it finishes your sounds get a ? mark thats there frq files~ Click OK that saves it so you dont loose them. Open the voice settings again and convert your oto to be able to read kanji to~ Ill explain that later when we get your utau fixed.
Did you download the english version i gave the download in the description at the bottom~ it helps ALOT.

when you record use audacity then you can trim them down and make sure they are the right time span. : 3

why does mine says 'winrar diagnostics error" whenever i drag my sound folder to the voice folder? HELP!

5th tab acros the top then the first drop down makes it a wav sound file. But you have to have all your notes selected and have played them first, otherwise it wont save anything.

make 2 notepads
first one name it Character and put in this info then save it to the place where your voice samples are.

Make a Second notepad called Readme
This is the background info on your character like item, age, etc.

So far i've got a Utau to sing to SPICE, and saved it as a UST file. And i'm not sure how to add that file and the of vocal file together to create the song.

I clicked on the download link that you gave but as soon as it finished downloading and i click "run" a dialog box opens up which says that the application is not valid for Win32!! what do I do??

This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities.
1. File is corrupt, bad, or missing.
2. File is not designed for your version of Windows.
3. File is a virus, worm, or other malware file.
4. Hardware incompatibility.

And since I directly got the link from properties it might be .1 definately not .3 but .1 , .2, and .4 are all posibile. It also might be posibile that your computer doesnt allow downloads from japanese sites.
